Starting with the 11-inch iPad Pro, Woot is offering these tablets with the Apple Smart Folio in select colors. Prices start at $659.99 (22 percent off) for 128GB Wi-Fi and rise to $849.99 (50 percent off) for 2TB Wi-Fi.

Woot also has multiple 12.9-inch iPad Pro models, and these do not come with the Apple Smart Folio. Prices start at $859.99 (22 percent off) for 128GB Wi-Fi and rise to $999.99 (52 percent off) for 2TB Wi-Fi.

In addition to Wi-Fi models, Woot also has the cellular versions of the 11-inch and 12.9-inch M1 iPad Pro tablets on sale. Woot's sale will only last for the rest of this week, although it could end earlier if select tablets sell out, so be sure to browse soon if you're interested.

We haven't tracked discounts on the M1 iPad Pro in about a year, given that recent sales have shifted to focus on the M2 models that launched in 2022. These tablets are fairly similar to one another, with the biggest advantages in the 2022 model being the M2 chip's internal upgrades and Apple Pencil hover. You can find out more information on the tablets in our guide.

Keep up with all of this week's best discounts on Apple products and related accessories in our dedicated Apple Deals roundup.

This isn’t really a great deal it’s one model back and for $40 more you can basically get the education deal on the current model if you figure in the gift card included.

Not bad for a new price! Apple has these refurbished starting at $639, so if you don't mind that and don't mind skipping the Folio, that's a better price. But all things considered, this looks pretty good.
The thing that has, likely irrationally, put me off some insane Woot deals on new old stock devices is thinking about that poor Lithium-ion battery sitting there on the shelf for a good long time.

Education pricing on the base M2 11" iPad Pro is $749. The above is $659. That's $90 (really $169 if you include the overpriced Folio) less, not $40, unless I'm missing something. [EDIT: OK, I guess the gift card deal they have going on now...]

It is certainly true that it's one generation behind, but there are minimal changes between the M1 and M2 iPad Pros beyond the processor itself. Might squeeze another year or so of life out out it in the future, I suppose, depending on how Apple handles iOS/iPadOS cutoffs whenever that time comes...

Pass. I can get M1 iPad Pros for less than that using the Veteran Discount

EDIT: Okay before I get any more "thank you for your service" replies, I wasn't in the service lmao. My dad and grandfather were. Family of active and retired military get access to the Apple Veteran Discount too. You just gotta verify that your family member was military through ID.me and boom you got the discount.

These old models wouldn't be sitting on shelves on discount if Apple unleashed iPadOS. I have an Air which gets occasional use; I would use it all the time if iPadOS were more capable.

For the 11 iPad Pro its a so so deal.

For the 12.9 iPad Pro with Cellular it's a great deal. These prices beat the Apple refurbished store, even if you tack on military discount. One terabyte with cellular for 1059 is insanely tempting.

For comparison the Apple refurbished store has the same iPad for 1659 dollars, so even with an additional 10% with military discount the Woot deal saves you an additional 434 dollars pre taxes and since they have one year of apple warranty that means you can add apple care so all worries about battery issues go out the window.

Now do I need an iPad Pro with my 2018 12.9 is still kicking strong is the question lol.

12.9" M1 iPad pricing on Woot:

128gb = $860
256gb = $910
512gb = $950
1tb = $980
2tb = $1000

That 2TB model is where the savings is substantial. I don't have a need for 2tb, my 128gb 2020 iPad Pro still has 60gb free.
Just blacked out for a while imagining apple reducing their SSD upgrade fees to look more like this…

Thank you for your service.

Where is it that you're finding such a great deal? Refurbished models notwithstanding, I don't see where you can currently find a better price, even with a standard 10% military discount.

You pretty much found it out, I'm looking at the Refurb models. The Veteran Discount applies to Apple's refurbs too, so an already great deal on an iPad or Mac in the refurb store gets even better with the discount

1TB 12.9" M1 (meaning it has 16GB RAM) for $979.99 seems crazy good.

Makes my third-party refurb buy look like a crummy deal. But this woot store seem to be US-only anyway.

Went with an 11" with 1TB and Cellular to replace my 2018 which is limited to LTE. Decided to jump on it when I compared to a current one at $730 more for the same specs.
