So I was surfing ebay looking for cheap macs and I came across this:
drivebays.jpg

why oh why

Because that's the way they look when you break the plastic drive cover?

Be respectful of your elders, you young mac whippersnappers! Someday you'll be missing a few bits and pieces too... 😀

🙁

That just ain't right.
I'm seriously not getting the joke here -- that's a stock Graphite G4 configuration.... Put me out of my misery, please! I confess to being insufficiently caffeinated to get it... 😕 😉

BTW how cheap was it? If it is a dual processor unit it could be quite a nice machine.

I think we're just being silly. But it's like seeing a wounded stray cat by the road. You're just drawn to it. I don't even want a desktop, and I feel like I ought to buy it and go shopping for a replacement drive door. 🙁

In keeping with the thread's question, I thought I'd ask God, why? He seemed to say, "beats me; we haven't used zip drives up here for centuries". 😀
