I think "thems' fightin' words" in some parts of the Geek Galaxy
I know a young couple that is very nearly obsessed with Star Wars. For her anniversary, the husband got a huge scale model of the Millenium Falcon. It beeps, whirrs, squeals, and even has Chewbacca noises. She said they play with their Star Wars figurines together...
Star Wars, Star Trek...They're still all the same to me. All I know is Captain Kirk is a lot cooler than Han Solo.

Thank you Admiral Akbar. Very funny.![]()
agreed, they are different flavors. I see trek as a little bit more real possibility, and Wars, as the desirable fantasy.and yeah, trekkie does not equal star wars geek
you can be either or both, but they are not equal
You ever heard these expressions:Many thanks for the corrections - I really don't know that much about either one other than they're from outer space and "A Real Long Time Ago." (to quote the yellow words in the introductions to all the films)
And yeah, I was probably off about the Han Solo remark - but you have to admit, the Star Trek Space Ship was cooler than the Death Star.![]()
^^ See there? I knew there were similarities: Tribbles are like little miniature Ewoks.![]()
Hey, I happen to like the Tribbles.Yep, fans want to kill em both.
I've always heard that SF is an odd place, and I guess this confirms it. The way everyone was indifferent to their presence just goes to show that nothing can phase the people of that city.
Well, the city and state is protected by the governator.
Actually, that was Mon Mothma that said that.

Starship, the Enterprise is a starship not a spaceship.
One Borg Sphere could take out 3 death stars.![]()
