Debating...12" Powerbooks

I've been through this process for the last couple of days. But I settled for an iBook. Why? I live in Norway, and the price difference after I've added BT and a larger HD to the stock iBook is still $500. And I'm putting that towards an extra 512MB of RAM and a digital camera.

So even if the PB is a better machine, the functionality I get from my investment is larger when going for the iBook. But then again - I will not be needing the DVI and the extra 32MB on the graphics card.

In the end I couldn't justify paying $500 extra for those 333MHz.

I'm facing the same dilemma. In Australia, the ibook 12 with Bluetooth/AE/60gb is AUD$2037 compared to PB12 combo AUD$2599. Thats nearly AUD$600 difference, I figure the ibook is probably a better buy and spend the money saved on an extra 512mb RAM and MS Office.

DVI is only important if you have an external monitor, and as for the debate about 5200 vs 9200... come on, seriously guys, they are both as crap as each other. Its like asking whether 7 fps is a better gaming experience than 5fps.

I'm leaning toward the 12" Powerbook for garageband and photoshop. Plus, I have a slow computer (P3 700 mHz Dell Dimension XPS) so the switch to the G4 1.33 gHz would be an big difference to me. Then again I don't know what will happen in a few month when I finally make my decision.
