I normally don't buy any kind of insurance for my phones since I'm pretty careful with them. But this time I've decided to purchase AppleCare+ for the first time for the peace of mind since I'm planning to keep this till the iPhone 7 rolls out in 2 years.

I bought it since having the ip4 and 5. I didn't use it all for the 4 but twice within a couple of months for the 5 so I saved. I thinks it's a good coverage and a bent phone will more than likely be used as one of your claims against the insurance.

Nice care to share with us what company that's with???

Wow, interesting. What credit card offers this?

I know my discover and amex cover lost/stolen items for the first 90 days or so but I've never heard of what you described.

I believe the warranty doubling is a basic Visa benefit, but mine is through my Chase card.

For the damage protection, it's a benefit of wells fargo: https://www.wellsfargo.com/credit-cards/features/cell-phone-protection/

I purchased my 6+ with Chase Visa (amazon.com rewards)...

However I just added AppleCare+ for my phone.

I can barely keep the thing in my hands. This is not a one handed phone, well it is, but only when your sitting.

The AppleCare+ Registered to the date I purchased the phone, Sept 18th.

Does that mean they backdated the activation date of APP?
