That happens from time to time, just an internal Apple system thing. The real key is when the credit card is charged.
Good to know because it keeps going back and forth between processing and PTS, but the card was charged.

I ordered the Base 15" upgraded to the 512GB SSD on Nov 7th with delivery date as of Nov 14 - 20th. Dec. 3rd they charged my credit card.... sort of.... charge still shows as pending on my CC. But it shipped on Dec 7th from Shanghai, and is to be delivered by end of day on the 13th (USA).

I should have seen this thread sooner. My order went in just after noon eastern on Nov. 3. Delivery window Dec 13-19.

The authorization for the charges hit my CC 2 weeks ago. The charge finally went through this week. I don't quite recall what day exactly though.
Anyway it is shipped and this morning it is in Louisville, KY. Tomorrow morning it should be on a flight to Hamilton, ON and then on to their Toronto DC that afternoon. Exepecting to see it here on Tuesday, the first day of my delivery window.

This also happened to me. Went to PTS after the CC authorization but went back to Processing until last week.
Did you get it from UPS?
Mine has been stuck in "Arrival scan" for 30+ hours.
What was your time between each step/scan?

It was in Shanghai for a few days. Currently showing arrival in Mississauga. So it is really close. I have a meeting that is really close to the UPS hub in Toronto tomorrow so in the AM I will see if I can maybe pick-up tomorrow.

I called UPS and they told me that they (in Canada I assume) don't let you pick up when it hits the terminal. I was at a business appt across the road from their local DC here and thought about going but the place is IMMENSE. I couldn't imagine them sending someone crawling through the building looking for my computer. It will be on a truck tomorrow almost certainly and I should have it between 12-2 tomorrow based on their typical delivery time in our area.

I almost pounced when the door bell rang....but false alarm. It was the postman with a different delivery (which was a box of wine so not the worst thing but still not my new tMBP!).

It's finally here! Looks nice so far. Haven't done too much.
Updated OSX before I tried anything. Now I have Migration Assistant running to move all my stuff from the old one. That will probably take overnight to finish. Right now it says 3-1/2 hours but past experience tells me otherwise.
I find the keyboard OK. The keys are bigger than the old one and for my fat fingers I think that will be good.
I've really only used the TB to set up the Touch ID and to unlock something when it needed a PW during set-up and OSX update.
Gee if it does keep up the Xfer speed it might be ready for a test run when I get back from my workout!

Well it is received and I am up and running! The data copied in about the estimated time. First time I've ever seen that using Migration Assistant. Usually takes longer. There was over 500 Gb to copy too.
Got my Windows VM copied over and it works too. Logged on to the Windows 20123 server at HO too though the connection was a teeny bit shaky. I'll put more time into that tomorrow. I need that a lot for work.
Seems quicker so far though have not completely put it through it's paces yet. Very limited use of the TB so far.
Also had trouble connecting the new machine to the old machine in Finder. I could see it but it would not connect and I am pretty certain I am using the correct password (it is the same as the old one). Would like to sort that out as Migration does not copy the Parallels VM for some reason. Managed to copy it to a USB HD and then onto the new machine. Had no issues and the VM file is 135 GB itself.
Enough for tonight though. Tomorrow morning at least I know when I get up I can start working.

My window was 12/14 - 12/20. It just shipped this morning with a delivery date of 12/21. Not sure what the point of a window is if you are just going to hit the side of the house...haha

My original window was 13-19th.
When it shipped the estimated delivery said 14th. A few days later it slipped to the 15th and then suddenly moved back to the 13th.
I think it has to do with variables in the UPS (or FedEx) Worldwide Distribution Systems. If it misses one flight it's going to be later, if it gets lucky it catches an earlier one than they expected (and this could vary with the capacity to fit stuff on flights too). Hope your date moves up still!
