Whats with the music album covers on everyones desktops?

I'm pretty sure that's an app called Clutter. I used to use it for getting album covers for iTunes, but it would sometimes get covers that were too small, so I just find them manually now.

Fantastic . . .

I have installed linux on a 6GB partition just to give it a try. Tiger is still my main OS.
Now at least I will know what people mean when they are talking/refering to Linux.

Plus this thing will sure turn some Mac heads :)

I like it! How long did it to install/setup the OS?

P.S. What distro is it?

It took me about an hour to install it. I have created one partition for it before doing a clean install of Tiger with Disk Utility.

This Ubuntu Linux, it is nice, I like it too. The worst part of installing it is the formating the drive/volumes as well as creating new small partition for boot loader "yaboot". It have also dicovered that linux would take advantage of having a separate partion just for swap files. But since this is only for messing around with Linux I haven't bothered with it.

Thanks, I might install on once I backup stuff and get an external hard drive.

My friend had it on his PC, but we couldn't get his USB Wireless Adapter to work with it. It's the only Linux distro that I've actually got to play around with. It's pretty good, from what I seen of it.

Mac Freak: Does Ubuntu work with AirPort Extreme yet?
I don't think so, which sucks. I hope they will get it working soon though. From what I have read Broadcom (a company that makes Airport card) hasn't released the Linux driver or the specs to Linux cummunity to write the driver for the card.

Sweet Jesus that's a nice pic.... where'd you get it from?

It's her. With some minor rhinoplasty and a boob enhancement with a dash of some mad photoshop skillz.

Here's to the Crazy Ones

Mmm the wonders of photoshop boob enhancements ;)

Anyways, as for the guy with Ubuntu on his powerbook, I ran it for a while on my IBM Thinkpad a few months ago, and it was a great distro of Linux. Very user friendly (as far as Linux goes), and very nice.

I reccommend switching from Gnome to KDE though... I believe it's called Kubuntu and available after adding a few web addresses to your apt-get library.
