Those french fries look awfull. You got to taste the real ones some time in your life. I don't know why they call it french fries since it really is a Belgian speciality.

can anyone recommend some good wallpaper sites that are interfacelift quality that have wallpapers for dual monitors? you know, cool stuff like the earth stretching across the monitors or something like that. thanks!
mandolux.com has some of the best out there. No earth stretching pictures but you can't beat his for multi-monitor and quality.

Ah dude, you're mistaken. I am from Québec, Canada and I can ensure you that absolutely no Canadians eat poutine. Only Québecers. We, Québecers are distinct from Canadians because we speak French. And we eat poutine ! 😀 BTW, poutine, although it is not good at all for your health or for your weight, is just sooooo good ! 😛

I was in Québec last month and had poutine for the first time. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, but I have to admit the cheese curd was an acquired taste (the gravy was fine, however). Definitely not health food, just like the chili/cheese fries I grew up with

Poutine is the most awesome food ever, especially when stumbling my way home on St Laurent at 4am after a hard night of drinking...😀

I have to agree--Belgian frites are the best I've ever had. I also loved the selection of sauces (curry was my favorite). The frites stands were wonderful, and I found it impressive that the vendors were trilingual (Americans are monolingual on average; our president brings down this figure)

The best chips I've ever eaten are "Stoakley Webster's Incredible Chips" from the Glastonbury festival...its unfortunate I can't find them here...with sweet chilly sauce 🙂

I know people from the west coast who can be partial to a little poutine. Crazy Québécois, can't you all just get along 😉?
