The Dock I'm using u can find it in Superdocker.com is called "no dock" and the indicators can be found in deviant art and they are called "Gas stove indicators"

Here's my December desktop on my work computer, looking forward to the release of 'Avatar' this month.

Normally it's at the jaw drapping resolutuion of 2560x1600. Regrettably I can't give the original out as Warner would no doubt rip me a new one for distributing it. Perhaps after the release day I could leak it. ;)

is that one one of the avatar?

I really like it, except for your use of Papyrus, which is a crime against humanity made in ones and zeroes.

Calendar font is Herculanum, and the weather text is Handwriting - Dakota. Have some decency, sir! =)

But anyway, how about this?

Oh, oh, oh, but Herculanum is still just as ugly. :p

But the desktop looks much-o better now.

Just for the holidays...

The dock only shows running applications, so I launch with spotlight. On a sidenote: Does anyone know of a working build of Quicksilver for Snow Leopard? I'm tired of the preferences menu crashing...

Been messing around a bit more, and I just wanted which of these two you guys like most.
Thanks.

(first one uses Schneider's great Snowflakes 'paper)

Going with the Helvetica look...
Nothing special, I made myself a Bowtie theme in Helvetica (bottom right)

Probably change it for the holidays, at the moment I'm still in study/cram mode :)

i know this is gonna sound stupid and very newbie like, but how do i change the text on it? i'm using GIMP to have a go because i don't have any need to use photoshop. i'm assuming it's something very simple but it's been driving me crazy for ages.

just saw you're reply now, if you could i'd like icons for Vuze, Apps folder, facebook, isquint (avi converter) , plex, keynote, smultron (html editor), codeblocks (programming IDE). i know there's a few there but that'd be really awesome if you could do them for me :)

yea i got you. i should be able to get to it sometime this weekend cause im on the road right now.
