Decent desk - Budget $100

You guys have any suggestions? Just need a basic desk nothing fancy. Big enough for my MBP and a few books + work space.

Get two of the legs ($10 each) and a glass table ($100) from ikea and you have yourself a nice desk, that's what I have in my room. 😎

The legs look abit fragile, but it's not. I have a 19" CRT, 17" LCD, a subwoofer, a few magazines, keyboard/mouse and my MBP on it and still have room to work on and it's pretty sturdy.

IKEA has a wide selection of tabletops and legs. They also have some cool cheap desks...check out the IKEA stuff photo thread, and get some ideas.

Thanks.. I just saw that tread.. After giving it some thought I believe I can make a much nicer desk (using real wood) myself and stain it any finnish I like.
