Decent leather case for 16 Pro

Oh yeah won’t be real at that price. I’ve had it on for about a year now and a few dings etc but nothing flaking off, broken. Camera ring is scratched up. I’m quite particular with my leather style cases and this is definitely the best looking/feeling case I’ve had.

So first batch won’t reach us until next week.
Looks like I will have to buy a cheap case to see me through.

When I emailed them the day the cases were up for order, they told me shipping would be THIS week. Now I wish I had paid for express shipping since I'm in the US. I will ask if I can pay to upgrade
The worry is they test the cases, they aren’t 100% and they ship them anyway…
Or they aren’t alright, which means a long wait and lots of refunds.

I ordered the Royal London case for iPhone Pro 16. It looks really nice. I hope that cut-out for the Camera Control Button works well, otherwise I will have to return it.
Loved forest green on Apple Leather case and also the solo loop for the watch too.
Decided to try Decoded. I ordered Monday night on the East Coast and it's out for delivery and should be here by noon. That's crazy since it shipped from the Netherlands.

Minus the metal camera bump, this looks the closest to Apple in thinness. I might get the black one or maybe navy. Navy works with a Black iPhone right? lol

Decoded's shipping times are crazy. I don't know how they do it. The last one I had arrived less than 24 hours after ordering it and I live in western Canada!
I've had three decoded cases. My first one was a brown one on my iphone XR and it aged quite well but never developed that sheen that usually goes along with nice leather patina. It had all the normal darkening etc but always looked dull. So I eventually picked up a second one on clearance for $9 for the XR and it aged beautifully. I then ordered the navy one for my 12 mini and it developed the most beautiful sheen along with its patina. It was a fantastic case on a garbage phone. I had it for less than a year because the phone was awful but the case was a beauty. At the time it was probably the closest in terms of thickness to the Apple cases.
High praise from you! Wow I really might have to check it out. The navy does look great, but black on black is pretty slick.
Oh i just remembered my one an only complaint with the Decoded. I had the brown decoded on my white iPhone XR and it stained all the antenna lines on the side of the phone brown. It was my only complaint. Not sure if its still an issue with their leather or not.
The Luckycoin is still my number one pick, but I would gladly take Decoded over anything from Mujjo or Bellroy, or even Blullstrap ( because of past experience with their customer service team ).
When I think about how many leather cases I've been through over the past 5 years its pretty sad how much money has been spent. The fact its taken me this long to finally find a case maker that I'm happy with their quality and pricings is crazy.
Hopefully they have that figured out. Not the worst issue for sure.
Oh yeah, I went through probably 10 last year looking for a replacement to Apple. Gave up and kept my 14PM and just waited. Now it’s just waiting time to see what LC does. Really excited to see what they can offer.
Ordered it to check it out. Not a fan of fuzzy leather but it’ll settle I hope
