I think I'm going to order the Ryan London case with the open bottom because I prefer the leather camera surround instead of the metal. I'm in between the saddle brown and the dark brown. Can someone with the Ryan London case post some pictures?

Yours has the apple logo on the back. When using the link that was posted and looking at the pictures, the cases don't have that. Did you order a different one?
Same one. They don’t show the Apple logo on the pictures because they don’t want a copyright claim or what not

Very happy with my Keyway leather case on my 15 Pro. So much so I bought each color. Same fit and feel as the Apple Leather case but better quality leather. Planning to pick one up for the 16 when they release.

Is it possible to get some picture of the iPhone 16 Ryan London case, just about to pull the trigger on one and cancel my Bullstrap pre-order.

My RL case has arrived. Here are some photos, as promised.

For me this case is a 10/10 for quality and design. Everything about it feels premium.

All the buttons work well and the cc cut-out works good for me. It helps my fingers find the button quickly. I guess my fingers are normal/slim because I have no issues pressing / light pressing the cc button.

Oooooooh, looks perfect, thank you! I always worry about leather camera surrounds (such as the RL open bottom) that they will eventually compress with the weight of the phone and actually end up adding no protection, these are better.

Looks good! Sad that they don't sell where I live would happily get one.

I'm returning the Mujjo full leather case because the cut out for the camera control is brutal. It has sharp corners and is a bit of a pain to press (using my thumb is nearly impossible without contorting my thumb awkwardly.

If it had the capacitive button like the OEM cases, it would be a keeper for me, the Monaco blue color is gorgeous and I have no other complaints about it.
Thank you - this was what I came for - I was getting ready to buy a Mujjo case, but wanted to know how this worked. Thanks for the information.

I agree the camera cutout is as good as it can be but I find it hard to depress the shutter all the way when taking a photo and I shake the phone a bit. I did adjust the light press sensitivity to the lightest touch and the double press to the slowest between presses. But nothing makes taking a picture a lighter press.

Leather wise it’s great. Fit is great. I wish they had kept the flatter buttons. And mine are perfectly straight but with leather there are looser tolerances. I like RL saddle brown better than Andars. I don’t like the cutout they did though.

The magnets aren’t as strong. Holds my leather MagSafe wallet fine but the night stand charger doesn’t hold as tight as the andar did last year

Ultimately the apple silicon case has the best camera button and I am betting leather case makers will have a way to do a capacitive button soon. I’ll be a sucker and rebuy. Maybe they offer a discount like andar did last year for those that bought the first iteration on the action button cutout.

How straight and flat are your buttons on the volume side?

Looks awesome. I actually cancelled my RL order after I saw some other leather cases. Wanted to see some photos and hear some reviews before reordering. Any chance you could take a more direct angle photo of the camera control button?

Interesting! I don't suffer from any of these problems.

Yesterday, I received a pebbled leather case from Amazon. This one is from Mobee but there are a few others on there that appear identical; the Mobee one had the fastest delivery so that's what I chose. The listing says that it's "top grain leather," and it does smell faintly of leather. The pebbled surface is comfortable to grip - much nicer than the Apple silicone case I've been using, which seems to slide around in my hand ever so slightly, as if it were coated in powder - and it's easy to extract it from a pocket quickly.

The camera control cutout is fine - not ideal, as it's not tapered so the button is a bit recessed, but I'm still able to half- and full press without any significant difficulty. And it's actually a good place to anchor the tip of my ring or middle finger while holding the phone one-handed; accidental presses of the camera control are quite unlikely. The metal buttons are nice an clicky, and while perhaps not as smooth around the edges as the buttons on my old Apple leather case, they're by no means sharp, and I like that both they and the camera surround are also blue.

I have a couple of other leather ones coming tomorrow, but for $25 this is probably a keeper even if I end up keeping one of the other ones as well.

Finally got my Ryan London iPhone 16 Pro Max Leather Shell Case Metal (Closed Bottom) in Black. Looks awesome, feels great, and the camera cut out works great. I noticed that I don’t even need to angle the position of my finger into the cutout for control. Just sliding your finger on top of the opening makes enough contact for smooth control.

Also got the Ryan London case for the Desert Titanium iPhone as well.

Are you sure that’s not the closed-bottom version? The shell case usually has a leather wrapped camera bump vs the metal camera ring.

This is the closed bottom version which Ryan London calls:

got the traditional nomad leather case in brown for my natural titanium 16 pro

it is a decent leather case, out the box doesn't have a strong leather smell, but feels smooth and well put together. I like the buttons, especially the textured power and action buttons.

I think this type of cutout is the best option currently other than having a covered button like apple's silicone. but imo its better than the brands that have gone the hole punch route, its easy to access, and the cutout actually makes it easier to place where the camera capture is

I'm happy with it overall

It’s the best all leather option out right now. Until someone figures out how to made the cutout a capacitive button. I really like mine. Only complaint is the volume and action button are a bit crooked.

I just hope the thin areas around the camera button hold up.

Bellroy leather phone case in Agave. Very slim profile and the metal buttons are very reminiscent of the original Apple leather case. Not much leather smell though.
Photos taken indoors and in direct sunlight.
