Hi,
Yes, I know these things are individual decisions but I guess I'm seeking the advice and experiences of Air users.
I've an iMac and a MBPro. Love them.
But I'm increasingly going to be travelling and I'm considering the Air.
I've read a host of posts and issues and it seems to be the Air does pretty well on portability, weight, and routine functions.
I'd mainly be using it on the road to write, surf and use speadsheets. And music. No heavy editing of photos or movies. My concerns are that though I'd use the Air lightly, the battery life issues, the core shut downs, well, they make me consider whether to go for the Air as I want a reasonable battery life and reliability.
A light function user, concerned even these will cause the thin Air to whizz and sigh sadly.
Many thanks
