    It's time to get the serial number for your coming 6s from your support profile so that you can decode it. You can learn what factory and line it was manufactured on, what week and day it was made, etc.

    It is not uncommon for them to start showing up once Preparing for Shipment is reached.

    Check https://supportprofile.apple.com periodically, as your 6s will show up in here soon if not already.

    Last year my launch day phone hit over a week before delivery.

    Note that when you get your physical phone, the IMEI is no longer located on the back of the phone for the 6S. It is now located on the removable SIM card tray.

    So don't switch SIM card trays between phones or you will end up with mismatched IMEI numbers.

    Mine is currently preparing for shipment, still nothing on the support profile. I guess when they will start showing up as they charge peoples cards & actually assign devices to be shipped to them.

    That's for a 4/s. Do you have a source for this or are you just going by the marketing material because I don't believe those have imei numbers to begin with.

    Damn, and my order is still processing :p
    Hopefully it moves along tomorrow, but whatever. Not going to accelerate the process of getting the phone but it will be enjoyable tracking the phone until it gets here.
