My emac keeps freezing, I am new at this,It freezes and I can't do anything! The cursor will move, But I can't click on anything. I have to shut it down. Please help, I am ready to throw it out the window!! Some on the letters even looked smeared.

Unplug anything going to the eMac besides your keyboard and power cord.
If you have third party RAM, take it out and put back the original (it's a pain on an eMac, especially if you have a stand - you'll need a screw driver, I believe).
