This is the only Apple Music news I've ever seen on this site where the replies aren't full of anger and bitterness. For some reason.I was going to say that “this article is the perfect definition of a slow news day”, but then I read so many posts celebrating this news...
Whatever...
Nickleback! It is Nickleback that starts all of the flame wars with stuff like "they're not a real band", "too much hair, too little talent", etc. This is the only Apple Music news I've ever seen on this site where the replies aren't full of anger and bitterness. For some reason.
I'm gonna go listen to some Nirvana to mark this occasion.![]()
I was just thinking the same thing - practically every other post about various artists being on Apple Music is filled with people racing to tell everyone they don't like that artist, or that kind of music, or insisting that the music in question don't really qualify as music. It would seem that those who don't care for Def Leppard are much more tolerant. This is the only Apple Music news I've ever seen on this site where the replies aren't full of anger and bitterness. I bought all their music videos on iTunes about a year or two ago.Didn't think about the iTunes part, thanks for pointing that out! Added a quick mention.
And don't forget Winger. I personally like a lot of their songs, but mention them and you will get a rise out of a certain group of headbangers.
FINALLY! To celebrate, I'm going to start off my morning with "Pour Some Sugar on Me".
sigh, it's like Nirvana never happened.....
The availability of Def Leppard is good news for those who are fans. Personally, I think Prince is too good for Apple Music. But then again, I buy physical media and rip it so I'm not missing out on Prince.Sweet! Now we just need Prince music from 1994 - 2013.![]()
Funny thing is I love Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix; to me Nirvana was just the natural progression of that type of rock music (strip away the bullc**p). But Limp Bizkit? Man you must have done something wrong in a former life.....Good! That was a very depressing distraction in music ... like all the Mods, Chelsea’s, and Emo’s bought a concert hall and broadcast station. Eeek.
I’m more of the Disco/Funk, House, and Hip-Hop guy ... even so I prefer Rock (Hendrix, Led Zeppljn, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Metallica ~ 1st six albums, and a few others). Yes I’m guilty for liking Limp Bizkit (the band man the band), linkin park, rage against the machine ... yeah. But Nirvana ... we agreed to disagree the moment you typed that bandcheers.
My very first ever concert was Def Leppard when I was 12. During their Adrenalize tour. Still the best rock concert I've ever been to.Excellent news and welcome!!
Seems like Iovine & Cue are doing something right, not just joining the competition for streaming but rights to sell their entire catalog of music!
Man brings back great highschool memories! Still some lyrics I’m confused about though.
Now iTunes music on iOS just needs a UI overhaul and design layout to be rethought about action to functions.

At first, I got real excited when I read the headline, then I realized it said "available to stream."
The one place I would listen to music the most is work, but despite being in a very tall building in a large city, my LTE connection is practically non-existent at my desk.
Wake me up when the songs are available for sale, at least the songs for which my CD copy is too scratched up to rip.
Pour some shook up Ramen (When you need a cup). Now I’m livin’ like a lover with a red iPhone
Thats all well and good but where is Garth Brooks! Biggest selling country/music act of all time.
I like the idea of Apple Music and streaming in general but my OCD kicks in when you get an album and its missing certain tracks.
I'll be sticking to purchasing music for the time being.
Maynard of Tool has a similar viewpoint. He won’t allow any Tool albums to be on service like Apple Music because he believes those albums should be listened to from beginning to end in one sitting and that there is no other way. I gotta say, I HATE this viewpoint. I do listen to albums from start to finish, but sometimes I just want a particular song. If I purchase your art, then I’m going to consume it in whatever manner brings me enjoyment. Interestingly, his other bands (A Perfect Circle and Pucscifier) are both on AM.Unfortunately Garth has an issue with iTunes, as well as Youtube and other services. I am a big fan, and saw him 4 times on this past tour. Brought my daughter to the last concert and she has a great time, and we were on the jumbotron 3 times and I was looking for video clips on youtube and after a lot of research I learned that Garth has videos removed from Youtube because of the fees google pays to songwriters and artist.
I imagine that's part of his issue with iTunes as well as he believe albums tell a story and he doesn't like selling singles only.
