Default App iPA

    I was just wondering if it would be possible to convert the default iOS 6 apps to .iPA, or somehow grab the .iPA's from the iPhone/iPod; and then change the version number line of code, so that they could then be installed on iOS 7/8.
    Is this realistic, or would it be impossible? Thank you for any replies or assistance in advance.

    It's not possible. It's not going to simply be a matter of changing a version number to make an old application run on a newer operating system.

    Would you even be able to fetch the iPA's ?
