Default Gmail setup?

If when setting up gmail on my iphone I selected it from the list rather than manually setting it up will it be using the POP setting rather than IMAP by default?

It depends on what firmware you're running.

If you select GMail from the list and you're running 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 then it will be IMAP.

All earlier firmware's will use POP.

Remember to turn on IMAP/POP forwarding on your GMail account on a computer first.
