Also seeing this problem, and the issue is that I'm only seeing first names with people calling from non-iOS devices. If I'm getting a call from an Android user, I'd like to see more than the first name when they're calling, and that's not going to change because they set up a contact card.Nah I’m pretty sure it’s based on what the contact is sharing. You’ll probably see plain gray screens until the general public has the option to set their stuff up.
True. Should be interesting to see how this develops cross-platform.Also seeing this problem, and the issue is that I'm only seeing first names with people calling from non-iOS devices. Exactly my situation. So there is no chance to configure this? Also seeing this problem, and the issue is that I'm only seeing first names with people calling from non-iOS devices. That's always how it has worked. The slider is used to prevent unintentional screen taps while the device is locked, possibly in a pocket, bag etc.I have an issue that is slightly related to this. Im using the latest iOS 17 developer beta and when I get a call when the screen is locked, I dont have the accept/reject buttons anymore. It’s only “slide to answer”.
Is that the correct thing? I guess i do have the “Message” and “Voicemail” button which does the same thing. Just wondering if that’s how it is supposed to be.
