I used a number of 3rd party screen resolution manipulation apps to test-setup an odd display on my M2 MacBook Air while I waited for the intended Mac for that screen to arrive. I have told these apps to reset values back and remove any changes, but I'm wondering if I'm back to where I started.
The native screen resolution of the M2 Air's display is 2560x as stated on Apple's specs page for that model.
My Displays control panel looks like this, presently:
The default "looks like" resolution (HiDPI resolution) is 1470x956 for this screen, according to what I see on my system. (If I select the Default for Display radio button at the top, the screen does not change; it's still at the indicated 1470x956.)
Can someone confirm this is the case on their M2 Air? Also, are others only seeing 4 scaled resolution icons below the radio buttons? On my other Macs, I see five...
Thanks to any who might respond.
