Curious if anyone has figured this out. When I test NameDrop it wants to share my email by default instead of my #. Is there a way to override that in settings as opposed to doing it every time?

And in addition the question : what data is transferred in this namedrop ? The whole „me“ from the contacts app?
That crossed my mind too, but I think it's just the info that you select on the screen, like the one that currently defaults to my email instead of # for some reason.

Has anyone found out what exactly is shared by default and if you can choose/change the default?
I’ve got the beta installed but no one to try it with and other than customising the look of my contact card I can’t find any settings.
I don’t necessarily want to share all my info, probably only the number of the phone I’m using and the contact poster instead of all my home and/or work details.

Any updates to this? I have so much information in my "me" contact such as my past addresses. Would only want to share Name, Title, email, and phone number. But don't see anywhere where I can customize it.

Like you all, I save a bunch of information in my "Me" contact card and don't want all of it. I don't have an answer to this question but Contacts on MacOS handles this very well, for a long time now. On Mac, you can select the fields that you want to share by default and don't need to select each field every time you share. I don't know why iOS hasn't adopted this, especially with the namedrop feature.
