Hi all,

I just did a clean install and time machine restore to restore my system to it's previous state. But now all my default widgets are gone and only the ones installed by me (before the restore) appear on dashboard. They are also gone in the "add widget" bar...

Any idea where I can find those default widgets? Maybe on another mac in a library file somewhere so I can copy paste them over? I did a spotlight search but found only the ones I installed...

Thanks for any help!

Where art thou, Widget?!?

Slightly similar to my problem. I had one of them yellow sticky notes full of stuff on it, and it was deleted by mistake. Is there any way of restoring such a widget, or at least to view what was on it the last time i did a backup?

I have this problem now. I used migration assistant to restore from my Time Capsule to a new user. Most of my widgets are gone, but when I try to reinstall them it tells me they are already there! But where are they? Someone help please!😱
