Apps default phone number for Friends?

Some of my friends have multiple phone numbers, so when I press the side button and choose a friend to call/text, I have to scroll through the contact's list of numbers to choose one. Am I missing something, or is there a way to choose a default number?

I know you can say call so and so's home phone or mobile phone..etc haven't tried it on my watch yet, should work.

Thanks. However a lot of my contacts have multiple cell numbers in different countries, so there's no easy way to indicate which one. Also, in most cases I try to avoid using voice commands (especially in public). I hope there is, or will be, a way to associate a particular number/email with each person in Friends.
