So I was in the Apple store to try the watch which was cool, but I also had to check out the new Macbook.

It is gorgeous in person - the screen is amazing. Trackpad is awesome...but the keyboard was just ok. I think I could adapt to it, it is hard to tell as I am too tall to have proper typing posture at the Apple store tables.

What I though was interesting though is the default resolution - it is set to the "3rd" option, 1280x800. Which of course means that the display is being scaled all the time by default. I guess they felt the 720 vertical resolution was too limiting?

Anyways, it is a really nice machine, but i'll be waiting till gen 3 or so.
