Default window size for spotlight

When I search something in spotlight and then click on what I wanted to find, it always opens it in a small window, not my default window which is much bigger. Is there anyway to make my default finder window (the one that opens when I click on the finder icon in the dock) my default window for everything? I always want it to be this size basically.

This also happened to me in other cases, not just Spotlight, and it's annoying 😕

I just noticed something: If I open a window in spotlight, then resize it, then search for it again and reopen it, it will have the size to which I resized it to. But that obviously only applies for this one window. Is there no way to make it apply to all windows?
