Defaulting Snap to Grid?

Can you do this? I can't find it in Finder preferences.

If you mean icons on the desktop, then click on an unused part of the desktop and use "View--->Show View Options" (or control+click and select "Show View Options" in the list).

That only applies to one specific screen in the Finder. I'm talking about defaulting it to the entire Finder.

Just click "Use as Defaults" at the bottom of that window.

Did anyone notice that this feature on not in 10.6.2..? Or am I the only one?

The option isn't there..

Snap to grid is there on my 10.6.2.

With a little digging, you can find every keyboard shortcut known to man on Apple's web site. I saw the link in another thread, but didn't bookmark it.
