defective magsafe on 13" MBP? light goes out when cord moves

ive noticed recently when the cord moves somewhat, the light goes off, when i keep fidgeting with the cord, the light goes back on.

it still charges the whole time. thoughts?

i already have to take my 13" in because the hinge makes weird cracking noises when I move it. I think the plastic bezel is warped or something.

this machine is only a few months old, argh!!!!

i wanna get it all straightened out though before i go abroad with it to europe.

The charger on my mom's 13" MBP Mid 2010 does it too. Still chargers though. I'll be getting her a new adapter later this month, but it doesn't really seem to be an issue.

I would take it in and see if you can just swap out for another adapter as there is a good chance yours may be defective.
