Defective models

Anyone else receive a defective model? Mine was good up until I put it on charge last night. Made the charging sound when I plugged it in and this morning woke up to nothing. Tried other blocks, outlets, and cables. Nothing..

Currently going through the processes with Apple Support on repairing, but it’s quite discouraging to say the least. Set up quite late yesterday evening, didn’t get to play around with it much and now this...

I wouldn't bother repairing. I'd take it back and get a brand new one.

Closest store to me is about an hour and a half away. Unfortunately it isn’t an option to get there at the moment.
