yep you got in before me but, the best thing about it is that when i cant be bothered reading the clock on the menu bar and im about to leave the computer, i click lock screen a massive clock pops up and i can read it from the other end of my house

Ah, I see what you mean. But that calendar isn't part of the desktop picture. It's an application called DesktopCalendar (go figure, huh?) that puts that calendar there on top of any desktop picture that I choose.
