Delay on dec 2nd 27" imac

    Now, I'm starting to get pissed. Original delivery was Jan. 2-7. After having the order go through the 4 day "preparing for shipment", then back to "processing"; I get this email today:

    I placed my order on the 5th December and after 26 days it is now preparing to ship. I've had no communication suggesting the delivery of 3rd-10th will be postponed (yet).

    What I have noticed is the number of threads relating to faulty screens and people being promised priority for replacements within a week. Makes you wonder where those iMac's appear from, given the backlog of orders, and whether that is the most likely cause for computers that are obviously built and preparing to ship suddenly not being there.
