Delayed AW4 shipments

So I had both a Black SS 44 and a Gold SS 44 ordered. Order placed at 3:04am with delivery dates of 9/21. Well much to my dismay this morning they both say something like your order is taking longer than usual with new dates:

BSS was 9/21 now 10/5
GSS was 9/21 now 9/28

Anyone else seeing the delivery dates falling back for some reason?

When I ordered my black 44 MM stainless, which was immediate after the mobile App went live, I was predicted a 09/28-10/05 Delivery date. Not sure why some stainless models are later, as where the aluminum models are delivering this coming Friday.

I have my doubts. Most of my Apple (non iPhone) online purchases seem to ship from Nashville, TN.

My tracking and Apple order pages say the same as they did, preparing for shipment, ups says order processed ready for ups. What’s interesting is my total went down by $6 due to a drop in the estimated taxes, but the charge is still pending on my credit card. I’m thinking maybe the charge will go through at the nightly update on the card, and maybe I’ll get actual tracking, maybe. At least the total changed, so they are working on something LOL

My delivery date range estimate is unchanged, but the message changed.
Conclusion: Delivery will be more likely for Oct 2-ish than Sep 28-ish.

Email order confirmation came at 12:07am Pacific Time for a delivery to Austin, Texas.

I ordered the same but 40mm and my confirmation email was at :06 after start. Do you think it’s weather related. Do you live where deliveries are going to be harder?

Mine has said that since I purchased it. Same estimated delivery date.
