Anyone else noticed notifications are delayed on 15.1? I have notifications for local apps like Transmit and Handbrake. The notification when something in complete, can be delayed by 4-5 seconds.

I had the same problem. I found that turning Apple Intelligence off fixes it. Or if you want to leave Apple Intelligence on, then turning on 'Summarize previews' for the app also fixes it. Basically, if you're not using Summarize previews with Apple Intelligence, then it's delayed for some reason. Hopefully it's just a bug that will get fixed soon.
Same thing is actually happening on the iPhone/iPad as well, which is how I first noticed it. My 2FA prompts from a few apps were coming in 5-10 seconds later instead of instantaneously when requested.

I turned on Summarize previews and it fixed the delay.
The notification delay is driving me mad. Time to turn off Apple Intelligence I guess. I only used it twice anyway and each time it was useless.
FWIW, this is nothing new. I've also seen the alert sound come, and then the notification itself showing much later. It might be something new causing it this time, but I've seen it come and go over the years. It seems stable on Ventura and iOS 17.7, as are most things, so I'm staying put.
