I recently upgraded my iphone 6 to an 11 pro (on release day). I've been having an intermittent issue with some notifications only sounding after I pick up the phone (when it unlocks I assume). The issue is not consistent, but it does affect multiple apps. I've missed notifications because of this issue. On my six with ios 12 and earlier, I would occasionally miss a notice for various reasons, but I never had reason to believe it was anything other than just me not hearing or feeling it (walking around, noise, etc). but with the 11, I have missed things when it was quiet and the phone was right next to me, only to pick it up and have a notification sound play well after the event happened.
When this happens I always double check to make sure the settings are right, the ringer is on, and "do not disturb" is not activated.
Any ideas? This is really starting to irritate me 🙁
