J j4ymf macrumors newbie Original poster Aug 28, 2011 #1 Hello i have just had a new hard drive fitted, not sure what u have done wrong but when i backed up from my time machine i now have two accounts. im using lion i would like to delete one of the accounts any idea how i go about doing it? thanks jason

QuarterSwede macrumors G4 Aug 28, 2011 #2 System Preferences > Users & Groups. Click the padlock and enter your admin password. Select the user you want to delete then click on the little minus button below the users list.

That depends on if you want to keep the data associated with that account. If not delete it.
