Delete a user from lion

Hello i have just had a new hard drive fitted,
not sure what u have done wrong but when i backed up from my time machine i now have two accounts.

im using lion

i would like to delete one of the accounts any idea how i go about doing it?

System Preferences > Users & Groups. Click the padlock and enter your admin password. Select the user you want to delete then click on the little minus button below the users list.

that is great help thanks but it is asking about the home folder.
what do i need to do with it?

save it, dont change it, delete it?

That depends on if you want to keep the data associated with that account. If not delete it.
