Hey- I just bought an iBook g4 running leopard, but it seems that the guy who sold it to me didn't reset it to the OS default (like, he created a generic user). How do I delete ALL of this user's data, and have no users on the machine? I want to have the whole first boot experience- welcome video and all. How is this done? Can it be done?

Select ERASE and INSTALL as option during a reinstallation, if you have the installation DVD.

But, I don't think you can really have NO users. You can delete all the stuff on the account the seller left behind, and the account itself, but you should still end up with a user account.

Well, I do not have the DVD... Hmmm. Is there any way to go through the setup assistant again?

You will not have the "first start - welcome video" experience, but you can create an admin account and then delete the other accounts via System Preferences > Accounts.
