Delete and Reinstall/Restore Videos??

I have several videos on my Iphone 3G that I don't intend to watch anytime soon. I'd like to delete them in order to free up room on the phone for other things, with the option of restoring them at a later date. It appears that when they're deleted from the phone or watched, they seem to disappear from Itunes on the desktop as well. If I'm correct about that, how does one restore them to the iphone at a later date? Do you just repurchase them and the system recognizes through your account info that you've already paid for them once and not charge you again?? Thanks,

Just unclick the box next to the video for it to sync. It won't sync with the iPhone and you can delete it from the iPhone. Nothing will be deleted from your computer.
