Hi,
When I press X button to delete an app, before to show the usual confirmation message it need at least 8-10 seconds.
Is it normal? I try with IPhone 4S, iPad 3 and also my new iPhone 6.
Sometimes you doubt that the X was pressed correctly!

Searched for this because I was going to post the same thing...

I've only just noticed this within the last day or two. Apps take i'd say between 8-15 seconds for the confirmation window to appear before you can delete it. I've reset the phone, restarted, and haven't changed anything on it or downloaded any crazy apps that would have affected this. Wasn't doing it a few days ago...

I have it on my 6, non jailbroken 8.1. Tap to delete an app and everything freezes for around 30 seconds, not even hardware buttons respond (Except to reset.) Then the delete popup finally appears.

I mentioned this bug in a different thread but I can't find it. Just wanted to tell you guy that if you are jailbroken, try using icleaner and see if it helps. I ran it the another night and I'm happy to say no more freezing on delete.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one with the problem. I thought it was my aging 4s making it take so long to delete apps. Can get quite annoying especially when deleting multiple apps.
