Delete items from launchpad that dont appear anywhere else

I dont know how I got this app in my launcher, but I want to remove it. It's not showing up in my applications folder in Finder. What is the best way to find it and get rid of it?

Uh... which application are you referring to?

Click on the offending app to launch it, then right-click its Dock icon and choose Options/Show in Finder to see where it is.
