iPad Delete multiple e-mails ios13.5

Thought I had this feature working, seems nor.
What is the correct process to highlight and delete multipolar e-mails.

Assuming you're asking about Apple Mail, Edit > select the emails by tapping in the circle to the left each email you want to delete > tap Trash ...

thanks must have been an earlier version of iOS from a video I had referred to, which suggested selecting top and bottom circles, which auto highlighted e-mails before deletion. .

Also you can use two fingers and slide over multiple emails to highlight and then press trash.

This is the part I'm struggling with, maybe cause 13.5 is a beta if it is still in beta.

it was released last week, so no longer beta ...

I've since had more success using more than 1 finger.
