Delete Old User Folder

I'm running a dual drive setup and was able to move my home folder onto the new HDD going through advanced options, when I check the HDD the home folder icon shows up, when I go to my ssd it still shows my old user file however when I try to remove it, it will not allow me. Can somebody tell me how to remove the old user folder from my ssd?
