delete phtots from Iphoto?

How do i delete unwanted photos from Iphoto? its not as easy as right clicking and hitting trash it!?

Any help would be appreciated

Yes it is. Or you can select the photos you want and hit the delete key on he keyboard.

The way I do it is to go into the Edit window and then click through my pictures, hitting the delete/backspace key to delete them.

If I remember correctly, when you delete a photo in iPhoto ('08 anyway), it goes to iPhoto's Trash, not the OS X trash. You have to empty iPhoto's Trash before you'll recover the disk space.
