Whenever I plug in my phone into my Mac, it uploads the photos from my iPhone into the Photos app. Is there a way to go through them in the Photos app, and whatever I delete, have it mirror on my iPhone and be deleted on my iPhone as well? I have over 7,000 photos and it would be a lot easier going through them on my iMac as opposed to my phone.

Enable the Photos app to use iCloud in both devices will accomplish what you want.

Yes, enable iCloud Photo Library on both devices.

    iPhone
    Settings>iCloud>Photos>iCloud Photo Library

    Mac
    System Preferences>iCloud>Photos Options>iCloud Photo Library
