I am having a problem with the Apple Music app on my M2 Mac Mini running MacOS 14.4.
The problem has been occurring for quite some time.
I am never able to log into my Apple account in the Music app, it prompts me but I never get logged in. After some time it will just show "Something went wrong. Please try again later".
Other apps and my iCloud account are working fine.
Apple Music works fine on another Mac and on my iPhone and iPad. I am not even prompted to log in, it seems to have me logged in through my iCloud account as you would expect.
It was suggested to me that the only way to resolve the issue is to fully reload the machine and restore my data from a Time Machine backup.
This seems like a drastic way to resolve the problem, are there any other options?
