delete: the item can't be deleted because its still in use?

Im a new mac user, i download and installed adobe flash then when i went to delete the installer it won't delete because it's still in use on my os. any help?

Did you unmount the installer properly? Look into the Finder's Sidebar under "Devices" or on the Desktop.

Yes, you need to unmount it first. The mounted installer icon should be on your desktop. Drag it to Trash to unmount.
