So in the watch app i how got the "1" in a red icon, and i get notifications on the phone to update, but at the current time i want to stay on WatchOS 4.3.2.

I try searching and the solution given was to delete the update file from inside the watch app in General -Usage - software update. But the thing is that i don´t have a delete button there, only a install button.

So will it auto install tonight if i don´t do anything?

And how do i delete the update file / update notification?

EDIT: I installed the TVos profile to the Apple watch, but it can still find the os 5 update, and says that there is a new update available? So where is the Watch OS update file located?

I don’t believe it has downloaded the file. I’m thinking it’s the same thing you get when a app needs updating. As long as you don’t keep the phone and watch near each other while charging there is no way it could update the watch. As far as I remember there is no auto update of the watch. Besides mine always tells me to install update after it is downloaded to phone. Identify think you have any worries.

Okay, but i read on Apple´s website something along the line that one gets a question to update in the night time and if you choose "yes" it will update later in the night. So lets say i choose yes by mistake or i just regretted my yes, so how would one go about to permanently stop the update from happening?

Sure one could keep the phone far away from the watch or turn off wifi/bluetooth on the iPhone, but thats only a temporary solution, you can´t do that every night for the foreseeable future.

I have now installed the TVos 12 profile on the Apple Watch, but i don´t know if that stops the watchOS updates, like it stops the iOS updates on your iphone when you have TVos profile installed on your phone?

But i still have that red circle notification icon on the watch app, and that annoys me.

So if the TVos profile works on the apple watch and i delete the watch app and then re-install it again, will the red update icon be gone?
And will i need to pair the watch again if i delete the app, i guess maybe it will get unpaired?
