either download the widget manager, or go to user (ie you)>library>widgets and dump the one you dont want the trash.
Simple.
 
I had the same problem. It isn't particular Apple like to have you find the folder and then delete it from there... I wished they made it sompler and more intuitive
 
I wouldn't be surprised to see a removal feature added in a future update, especially considering the security scare.

I hope so... I had to ask here in order to get rid of some of the widgets I downloaded... 😀
