Does Verizon allow multitasking yet? Last I heard, only Verizon allowed you to surf, while talking. I don't know if that's still the case, but as someone who spends hours on work calls every day, I'd be lost without being able to access other online services while talking.
AT&T unlimited LTE caps at 5GB before throttling. 5GB data is normally $50. You're paying $30. Keep the unlimited.

yes, I was just going to post this. when you move the LTE "unlimited" plan, it is still 30$, but the LTE moves to EDGE (I simply can't believe that, can anyone comment on real world experience) when you hit the 5GB soft cap.
It's not that AT&T allows you. Apple's design decision with regards to the antenna system on the iPhone 5/5C/5S won't allow the phone to use LTE and CDMA at the same time (or LTE and HSPA+ at the same time, actually).Does Verizon allow multitasking yet? UPDATE: It's AT&T that allows you to surf, while talking. And that's a feature that I can't live without.
Nope. That won't happen until VoLTE is rolled out, and that could be a while yet.
I did the same, but with my iPad.I ditched my AT&T unlimited data plan for Verizon's unlimited data plan back in June. The fact that you can have unlimited tethering and no throttling was worth the $200 I spent to take over my friend's Verizon line.

Tethering? I didn't think verizon unlimited plans had free tethering...?
Worth is always highly subjective but coverage is generally recommended as the main criterion for selecting a carrier. What do people think? Worth it or crazy to switch?
Multitasking != simultaneous voice & data. A device can multitask without simultaneous voice & data and vice versa. In any case, it's not just matter of the carrier but the device as well. As indicated in this and other threads, there are Verizon devices capable of simultaneous voice & data.Does Verizon allow multitasking yet?
I had at&t and switched to Verizon. No regrets. YMMV, depending on coverage and one's priorities. One size does not fit all.I had unlimited with AT&T and switched to Verizon. Regretted it ever since!!!stay with AT&T!
