Deleted a conversation in messages!

I just deleted a conversation in messages using slide and delete.
I didn't want to do that, so now I feel stupid..
Can I get it back?

iCloud doesn't have Messages, so I can't use that ;(
If I use iTunes I will lose my newest stuff that isn't backed up, right?
And it's been a while since last back-up.

So.. Can anyone help? :)

You could make a second account on your computer just to back up the current state of your phone and restore from the account that has your old contact.

I can't see how that's gonna help actually. Then I will have different stuff on each account, I don't want that.
 
That's not what I'm saying to do. Let me try and be clearer. Make a new account ... back up all your stuff ... this is to be certain you have a separate and new backup of your phone that doesn't interfere with your old back up. Then restore from your old back up to find out what the info is for the contact you deleted ... keep that info (write it down or whatever). Then just restore to your latest back up on the other account. I'm not saying that you should mesh all the crap together from both accounts. This is simply a way of getting your contact info recovered.

Sounds like you mean the contact info, aka the phone number.
If I had lost the number I wouldn't lose it since it's stored in my mind as well.
But it's the text messages I want that got deleted.

I can't just pick out one thing from a back up in iTunes tho'.
But are the text messages between last back up till now gone forever?
 
So was a contact deleted or was it that a conversation in Messages was deleted?

Yeah sorry. Was probably not the best way to describe it, it was the conversation.
But how do you delete a phone number from Messages?
