deleted dock files - please help

Hello.

i have deleted some files when trying to change the dock's look.
i cant do anything, i cant even put a dvd in, it just spits it out.
I read that somebody could send the dock.app file.
will this work, and can somebody do it ?

seeing as how you deleted "some files" i'd just say archive and install instead of speculating on what might have actually happened here... be prepared for a substantial software update and some broken 3rd party apps
