i sent someone some iMessages in Mexico. They don't have wifi or cell reception. I deleted those messages before they were delivered. Since I did that, will they not get those messages when they come back to America? Please help. I'm desperate to make sure they dont get these messages.

Pretty sure even if you delete them on your end they are on Apple's servers which are going to try to deliver them at least for some time.

In cases like that you should put your phone in airplane mode quickly and wait for the message to fail sending, then delete.

That's if it didn't get sent from the phone yet. If it got sent from the phone then it's already too late. Short of the recipient not having a connection for some time and Apple not delivering the message and dropping it after that time basically.

The issue is messages are extremely quick in being transmitted. If you just deleted it without [utting the phone in airplane mode - then its too late.

Thank you all! They did end up going to a Starbucks and receiving all of them. I appreciate all your guys help. :)
